Orbis VR released

Lost Eagle is delighted, in conjunction with Tinkuy Travel and Doslados Studios of Peru, to announce the release of a new App, Orbis VR.

This App will allow you to explore the world in a brand new and totally immersive way!

You will spin a globe and choose tours of a huge range from places of cultural and historic interest, such as Peru’s Machu Picchu, and areas of outstanding natural beauty around the world: the waterfalls of Costa Rica, Zion and Bryce Canyon in Utah, winter scenes in New England, stunning beaches, and many more.

We use the latest 3D computer graphics technology to create a heightened sense of immersion that is unique of its kind. Every branch, twig, rock, and wall is accurately modeled in 3D, making one feel you could reach out and touch it. All the graphics in our experiences are based on real photos and videos to create the closest sensation to feeling like you could actually be there. Nothing is faked and there is no CGI. We capture everything that is moving to really make everything come to life.

We are especially devoted to capturing video at the highest possible resolution, achieving results that are simply not possible with 360 video cameras.

We have a vast amount of content which will be regularly released on Orbis VR. This is a quite extraordinary technology and the whole world is waiting to be photographed this way and we are so excited to show it to you. (Actually, it often keeps us up at night.)

Believe it or not, everything you see below are actual 3D models with textures and videos mapped onto them!

A huge thank you to Alex and Jhonatan of Tinkuy Travel, Erick and William of Doslados Studios for the perseverance to make this dream happen!
